Note:

All design work represented on this website was produced entirely by me, including graphics, physical designs, photography, and writing.

No generative AI was used to make or aid any of the T-Time's development. Just hours and hours of SolidWorks, KiCad, Arduino IDE, VSCode, stack overflow, coffee, and passion!

If you'd like to support my work, feel free to chip in a couple dollars over at my Buy Me a Coffee link below!

Who created the T-Time?

Hi, I'm Alec, an electrical engineering master's student at the University of Wisconsin Madison and graduate in mechanical engineering with years of experience in mechanical, electrical and embedded design for rapid project development.

I spent the summer of 2025 in Boston for an engineering internship with Leidos, and during my stay there, I became obsessed with the T system. Living less than 1 minute away from a green line stop, I took the train nearly every day, and really wished there was a way to have the upcoming train signs down by the street right on my desk. This was partially to help keep me off my phone while leaving the house, and also just because I thought it would be a really fun thing to own.

After making a post online and sharing the very first version of this project with friends, I found out that many people in the Boston community were interested in having one too, ultimately leading me to make this a real product and project!
