T-Time Website live!
Although not the most riveting news, I've finally launched a webpage (this one!) for the T-Time product I mentioned months ago on r/MBTA!
I'll be using this website to track updates on the project as I work towards making it a reality, while hopefully gaining support from the amazing people in the Boston community who shared interest in the original version of this project :)
Eventually this page will also have a store which you can order your very own T-Time from!
As it stands right now, I'm planning to make my own versions to sell, but open-source the hardware/software so people in the community can do cool stuff with it or make something totally different out of it (it's basically just an ESP32 strapped to a display in a carefully designed box). It's completely standalone and doesn't require me to host a server, so unless the MBTA shuts down their APIv3, it will always work.
As always, feel free to send me any ideas for stuff I could do better, even with the website, etc... I would love to have input from daily T-riders and the greater Boston/Transit community!
If you're reading this and were one of the original people who pushed me to start this project on the subreddit, thanks again for showing interest and supporting the project! It means a ton as someone who started this for fun, I'm excited to keep sharing the fun as I work towards making a device everyone loves and can use.
